Open letter to Danny Miller ...
My personal view on Aaron Livesy @ Emmerdale UK
Even though it was meant to be a personal note that I don`t know how to get through to the receiver I changed it into an open letter cause of the massive interest for it. Hopefully HE will get this as well somehow ...

Hello Britain and hi Mr Danny Miller,

sorry to choose this way of writing, but its a little hard to twitter it all (even though you really might realize if one person fills the whole of your account *smile*). After tonights show where you just heighten the big drama again, it might be a good reason to show some respect. Even though I haven`t seen it until now (depending on YouTube) and I`m not sure if it fulfils the highest expectations. But just the spoilers SCARED me and the interview clip about it just left me with one of the most shocking moment on TV for months.

I want to praise you not just for your courage playing a gay person (obviously it still needs courage?), but also for playing this Aaron as he is with all his good and bad sides (and thats not just reduced to being gay). You created a character far from cliche and unbelievable real and true. And its not just about his development (right word?) which includes realistic screenwriting and careful treatment about Aaron (thanks to production team). It`s also about the special way you play it. Even though Danny Miller is not Aaron Livesy - Aaron is totally fixed on Danny Millers play. You took the role and gave him life.

There are not just the big scenes that are impressive, there are also the small moments where the play goes far across the limit. Where others just convince with one emotional play, there are a lot of scenes you give Aaron three different emotions at the same time. After screaming at Paddy (and scaring him again) there`s this unexpected change into a cry for help (the episode Paddys best mate interfete). Even better the next scene where Aaron crys all over calling Jackson for someone to talk to - but you not just cry you also try to hide it while talking onto Jacksons mailbox (and a few times turn the receiver away trying to calm down). I`ve never seen an actor behaving that way, but when you think about it everyone would do exactly this in the situation. Also the moment where Aaron thinks Jackson wants to take him home on the first date. There are that many mixed emotions in a few minutes that it really confused me and I needed some time to realize how deep and brilliant it is.

All this scenes show how serious you (all) take this storyline and exactly that is the reason why there are so many people - worldwide as you can`t even guess until now - take an interest in your work right now. Hopefully you take this as a chance to create something real special. Aaron is like a little baby you have to care for and I hope you will - despite of all the disadvantages.

Even though others may give you names ("perv" or so as we all read in the news) because they can`t see the difference between role and private, don`t forget the point is they do it at all. As long as there are people on the world who get insult for their sexuality we need characters like Aaron on TV. Strange how it sounds cause you`re just doing a good job and you`re also that far away from my life, it gives me a feeling of being PROUD of you that you take the journey and also defend Aaron on interviews and promotion stuff.

Thats why I have to say THANK YOU DANNY for your commitment. If I could I would carry you to the British Soap Awards - and to Danny Boyles next movie (but give us viewers some time). I bet as long as you are working hard (and keep your feet on the ground), this might be closer as you guess.

And now I`m checking the scary drama about Aaron and his try of suicide - which should never be an answer to any question !!!
("... And what when its just crap?" - quote "Fanboys" about Star Wars Ep.1 *lol*).

Greetz from Germany to Leeds

PS Before seeing the show I wasnt sure if the screenwriters will get the twist for a suicide plot - but finally they did a great job again and made it all believable with the desperate betrayal of Paddy. Well done once more!
